Restylane Wrinkle Reduction

Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume to the skin to eliminate facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide moisture and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is a crystal-clear gel called NASHATM, or Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid. NASHA is biodegradable and completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid. The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to your skin.
Restylane has been used safely by dermatologists and plastic surgeons worldwide since 1996. Because Restylane is non-animal-based and fully biocompatible, allergy testing is not required. Restylane is free of any potentially infectious substances. The most commonly reported side effects were temporary redness, swelling, and bruising. These effects typically resolve within two to three days. Restylane requires no pretesting, but patients should take a few precautions before being treated. Patients should avoid using vitamin E supplements, aspirin, or any similar anti-inflammatory medication prior to treatment, because these may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site.
Restylane has been used in more than one million treatments in over 60 countries to correct a variety of wrinkles and to enhance the appearance and fullness of lips. Studies have shown that the average treatment results last between six and nine months, and in some cases, even longer. Treatments are typically scheduled twice a year. Evidence shows that having a touch-up treatment before the product has fully dissipated will enhance the lasting effect. Restylane is proven to deliver a longer-lasting effect than traditional collagen (it tends to last about twice as long in most people).
